Weather Fury: Billion-Dollar Weather Disasters

NOAA recently determined that 15 billion-dollar weather disasters have occurred across the United States so far in 2022.  If no more were to occur this year, then this year would finish with an average number of disasters.  However, the average number of billion-dollar weather disasters has increased dramatically over the last decade.  Check out this story I wrote for the WUSA9 website for more details.
