An overdue snow day in the nation's capital

A snowy January day in suburban Washington, D.C.

January 15 turned out to be the snowiest day in the nation's capital in nearly two years with 3.4" of snow. Meanwhile, a storm total of 4.1" at National Airport over two days made it the largest snowfall in the nation's capital since January 3, 2022 (6.9"). Check out this story I wrote for the WUSA9 website for more on recent snowfall trends in the DMV.
