How does Hurricane Isaias Compare to Other Significant "I" Storms ?

Water levels are high after a wet week in the DC Metro Area
Although Hurricane Isaias wasn’t a powerful storm, it was a high impact one that affected tens of millions of people along the east coast of the United States, as well as interior parts of the Mid-Atlantic Region and northeastern United States.

Longtime Washingtonians may remember two other significant storms, “Isabel” and “Irene” that also impacted the DC Metro Area and were the “I” named storms of their respective seasons.  Check out this article I wrote for the WUSA9 website for more details on the comparison.
