C. Hurricane Cesar
crossed Nicaragua in 1996 and was renamed Douglas in the eastern Pacific
Ocean. While only a minimal Category 1
hurricane on the Atlantic side, it reached Category 4 intensity in the eastern
Pacific.
The winter of 2010 in the Washington, DC area was a pretty bad one, as I recall. Major snow storms and power outages extending multiple days causing great area-wide disruptions.
