that runs along the west coast of South America. It’s also known as the “Peru Current.”
That looks like a very OLD weather map, so I'm going to guess the Knickerbocker storm which was long ago. There was a Knickerbocker theater whose roof collapsed from all the snow in Washington, D.C.
