Although these snow totals pale in comparison to the
historic Presidents Day storms of years past, the Mid-Atlantic Region did see
widespread accumulating snowfall. In a
rare occurrence, areas south of Washington, D.C. got more snowfall than areas
north and west of town. A combination of
National Weather Service meteorologists and trained weather spotters are
responsible for these measurements.
If you don’t see your town listed, please send me your snow total or add it to the list as a comment. For the latest weather forecasts, follow my colleagues and I on the WUSA9 weather team.
